Q) What is European Grain?
A) European Grain is currently the only online corn exchange which introduces buyers with sellers. We have created a platform which allows both buyers and sellers of agricultural produce to find a market place when they wish to buy or sell, with a partner of their choice.

Q) How does it work?
A) If you have commodities to sell, you can register (FREE) and become a member with EuropeanGrain.com. Once you have registered you can list any commodities you may wish to sell. You can also submit quotation requests for seed, fertilizer and straights. All your information will be kept in your “dashboard” area which you can refer to or amend at any time. If someone wishes to enquire, bid or send a quotation for your items or quote requests they will contact you by your preferred method ie, e-mail or SMS or phone.

Q) How much does it cost to sell ?
A) Nothing – the service is free to all members who wish to sell goods or receive quotation requests.

Q) How do I know who I’m dealing with?
A) When you receive an enquiry, bid or quotation you will be able to see which company it is from and you can decide who you wish to deal with as there is no obligation to trade unless you respond.

Q) What if I don’t know the quality of my crops?
A) You can list your commodites and tick the box Quality Unknown - please contact ...

Q) What if I enter an agreement and there are contractual or quality issues?
A) If you have any quality or contractual issues then the normal dispute resolution would apply depending on the terms and conditions of the contract you’ve agreed to.

Q) Who provides the contracts?
A) When you decide which company your going to trade with, you will be entering the normal business practise that each respective company adheres to ie , AIC, GAFTA, NFU or other.

Q) How do I remove an item if its sold?
A) You login again which takes you to your dashboard, click on view live commodities – select the item you wish to remove and delete by clicking on the red cross.

Q) Can I change a listing once its made?
A) Yes – you can manage your space through the dashboard, you can change your listing by deleting it and adding a new one.

Q) How long will my listing remain posted?
A) Your listing will remain live until your chosen month of movement has come and gone. It will then drop into your expired commodities box.

Q) Do I have to respond to all enquries?
A) No you don’t, you can select the ones suitable to you.

Q) What can I receive quotations for?
A) You can request quotations for seeds, fertilizer and straights by going to your dashboard and selecting request a quote.

Q) If I buy through the site who do I pay?
A) You pay the company you decide to do business with - there are no payments to European Grain.

Q) What is a Pro-User ?
A) Pro-user registration allows you to make contact with the sellers of cereals, oilseeds & pulses and organics. You can filter by distance depending on what it is you are looking for. You can also register to be notifed by e-mail of any purchasing enquires for seeds, fertilizer or straights.

Q) How much does it cost to be a Pro-User?
A) £39 per month by Direct Debit (UK only), or €39 per month if you wish to pay via paypal (international).
